Biodegradable seedling pots made of whole seaweed fibres.

The natural binding properties of the seaweed species make the use of binding additives obsolete. By a heating and pressing method the seaweed fibres are molded in the desired shape.

The plant and pot can go straight into the ground together. The roots can push through the pot sides for an even root distribution. The pots break down fast while the seaweed  it made of acts as a powerful natural fertilizer.

For other, more decorative, purposes the plant pots were formed in different sizes and shapes, and dyed with a natural dyes obtained from the natural dyes research.
